Sharon Nyasha Simbachako is a research associate with the Centre for Agriculture and Food Policy (CAFP). Prior to joining the organization, she worked as a Graduate teaching Assistant with the University of Zimbabwe under the Agricultural Economics Department. Sharon has also worked with CIMMYT as an intern where she gained experience in research, data collection and analysis as well as technical report writing and presentation. She was involved in various programmes and projects, she played a role in the Conservation Agriculture (CA) programme in Africa specifically under the outreach and training teams. Sharon is a young, vibrant Agricultural economist with great enthusiasm and passion in the Agricultural sector mainly focusing on agricultural research, project proposal, policy analysis and development economics.
She holds a Master of Science as well as a Bsc (Honours) degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics both from the University of Zimbabwe.
